On Thursday March 2nd, WOTSO WorkSpace in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley played host to SSW FireBootCamp as they ran the first 2-day Angular 2 training workshop in Australia.
Angular, the most popular JavaScript framework available today, is used to create web and mobile applications. Millions have been waiting for the release of Angular 2 over the past two years and now that it’s finally out, there’s lots to learn.
Led by expert presenters, the students at WOTSO that morning were there for the first deep-dive training of its kind to cover Angular 2. During the two-day event, the attendees got to dig into the nitty-gritty of the new Angular, learning everything from routers and data binding, to directives and dependency injection to make their learning project a success. At the end of the 2 days, they had built a CRM solution using the new version of Angular.
SSW and WOTSO came together to run these hot new training sessions after Marlon Marescia, Sales Manager at SSW and recent transplant to Queensland, started working part-time from WOTSO’s Gold Coast office. As a long time employee at SSW, Australia’s leading .NET consultancy, Marlon recognised that WOTSO’s fresh and modern take on workspaces would pair nicely with SSW’s passion for innovation and community.
So, when it came time to for SSW to find a venue to run the new Angular course in Brisbane, Marlon knew just where to go to find a light-filled modern venue with high speed internet and a similar enthusiasm for future-thinking technologies.
